Enston Electrical are NICEIC registered. To enroll with NICEIC all electricians, and anyone they employ, must comply with national safety standards and codes of practice. They are regularly inspected, which means NICEIC is a symbol you can trust, and is only displayed by electricians offering a dependable service.

NICEIC acts as the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary regulatory body for electrical installation safety matters throughout the UK.  It maintains and publishes registers of electrical contractors that have been assessed against Scheme requirements, including the national electrical safety standard BS 7671, the IEE Wiring Regulations.

Enston Electrical are 17th Edition Compliant. The 17th edition wiring regulations BS7671 must be applied to all new installations designed after 30th June 2008, and there are various options that must be considered in order to satisfy these requirements.

Part P states that anyone carrying out electrical installation work in a home must make sure that the work is designed and installed to protect people from fire and electric shocks. Part P applies to any changes made to existing installations, including any parts that have been rewired. In April 2013 further changes were introduced, reducing the range of electrical installation work that is notifiable - removing some requirements in kitchens and outdoors. Electricians carrying out work in England and Wales have to comply with Part P of the Building Regulations.
